owner, Andrea Perchotte, has voyaged to dozens of countries on six continents. Her unique understanding of the needs of travellers is due to her experience studying, working and volunteering abroad as well as her experience as a flight attendant, hotel inspector and cruise line crew member. She founded TravelSmarts to serve the needs of people wanting to travel smarter, more safely and comfortably. TravelSmarts Luggage & Accessories offers a selection of mid to high end luggage as well as a wide variety of practical travel accessories. We are located in Canada’s 3rd largest shopping centre, Metropolis at Metrotown, in Burnaby, British Columbia on the outskirts of Vancouver.
Andrea holds university degrees in Japanese and Education. Andrea studied at a Japanese high school and university as an exchange student, and taught English as a Second Language. While living in Guatemala, Andrea studied Spanish and volunteered with disadvantaged children.
